Born on the Mediterranean island of Malta, Stefan is a singer/songwriter known for his theatrical flair in alternative pop. His journey began with Masquerade Arts School and Trinity College of Music, leading to early appearances at the Junior Eurovision finals, Music 4 Life, and the Farsons Beer Festival.
He made his Malta Eurovision debut in 2016 and later impressed on The X Factor Malta. His debut single Escape became a local hit, followed by tracks such as Untrue (2021), Heartbreaker (Eurovision 2023), and Numb (2024). In 2025, Stefan returned to the Eurovision stage with Lablab (Talk Talk), now one of his most streamed songs.
Stefan has collaborated with acclaimed international writers, including Eurovision names like Kjetil Mørland, Kristian Haux, and Carl-Henrik Wahl, cementing his place as one of Malta’s most distinctive pop voices.
